Writer Keith Rommel crafts a curious tale. One that sinks into the dark regions of the human psyche. His dialogue crafts a treacherous tale that twists and turns but stays on the path towards this tree that is both deceptive and malevolent. A malevolence amplified by the artwork of Wolfgang Schwandt. An art style nostalgic of early Dynamite Entertainment comics, and yet, leaves you with a chill factor - thanks to Kristal Sayers' coloring at play.
