The world of Grandfall is slowly being destroyed by an angry galactic Titan through a poisoning called Relic Creep. In response, the world created the Relicstones: large crystals that hold immense power. However, these stones have also made irreversible magical pacts with random people across the world. These people are called Arks. 

Enter Vail Heart, a young Ark and freelance hunter in the futuristic Cymbal City ruled by the Big Three corporations pushing an increasingly dangerous cybernetic agenda onto it's people. Vail uses her magical powers and fighting prowess to fight the cyber-scum of the Low-Town district...all while making a credit or two. 

However, her life is about to crumble before her eyes when a radical discovery is unearthed, leading to a larger quest across the world to find her Relicstone. 

Will she make it in time? Does she even care enough to bother?
