Living on the streets, Nicholas learns of the legendary Demon of the Dark Woods, said to help those down on their luck. It agrees to grant him the bakery he has always dreamed of, in exchange for the story of why he loves baking. Unbeknownst to Nicholas, he has paid the Demon his passion in sharing his memories.
